jeez. why the burr up your behind about james? No burr, just an outsider with no ties to Cleveland ,Miami or anything to do with LJ looking in. I'm sure I'm not alone in my belief that he runs the team. Sure ain't his puppet Tyron Lue calling the shots.no argument about today's nba and the coach/player relationships, but lebron is certainly not the first to have that kind of influence, that's for sure.

I don't think anything happens with the Cavs that Lebron doesn't know about in advance and I do think he wants Kyrie gone. Kyrie is a defensive liability and he turns the ball over way too much. JMO.
they've made 3 straight finals together since james returned to cleveland. in terms of talent irving is in the top two when you think about the players all-time who've been teammates w/him (wade is probably higher, but kyrie is coming up fast). he averaged 2.5 to's/game this year (lebron averaged 4.1, fwiw), 25.2 pts/game, 5.8 assists and 1.2 steals. you're right that his defense still needs work, but the guy's offense makes up for it. i truly think james got caught off-guard by this. That's just it...his offense doesn't make up for it. When Kyrie is on the floor the Cavs give up a ton more points than when he isn't out there. A PG that scores less and defends more would be more valuable to the Cavs. Kyrie is a PG that looks to shoot first, pass second and play defense third. His assist to TO ratio for his position is not very good...27th in the league. All that said, I get that it's tough to play with Lebron James...it's his team.

he's not a point guard. more of a 2. only true point they have is james, which can be both a blessing and a curse. certainly not easy with lebron there, agreed. but when Irving wasn't on the floor the cavs dropped in efficiency on offense, significantly.

I guess you'll see if Derrick Rose has any gas left in the tank.
