His AR shooting technique was pretty shaky probably due to his adrenaline going through the roof. There's no reason he could not have put rounds into all of those ass holes at that range.
The number of ass holes in society is escalating rapidly and I expect we'll see a whole lot more of this sort of crime as sides continue to be drawn.

YGBFKM.     You're going to criticize a man who was in a situation YOU have never faced?
He wasn't on a range.    He wasn't told in advance, "OK, here's the scenario ..... blah blah blah."   It wasn't just adrenaline.  He was probably scared shitless as well.   I would have been, but I'm not as brave as you are.  And the bad guys weren't standing still like one of your paper targets, either.

That is good RIFLE technique, not "AR technique."  and at a range of less than 20 feet with a semiauto, totally unnecessary.  He accomplished his goal, rapidly.   I'd imagine the one who got perforated 3 times gave up his pals.

I hate to tell you, but I am gonna run if someone starts spraying and praying, too!   If I reach cover safely, THEN I will decide what to do next.
