About what I expected but would've rather he used regular old M193 55gr for the AR. Looks like the antis better get busy banning shotguns.

FMJ would perform better than a 50 gr. HP. I would expect the ball ammo to zip right on through. I'm not a rifle expert, so I'm just guessing.
FTR, all of my .223's are 55 gr ball. I can't see spending more money on HP's just to play with. [There's that word "play" again. Is Rox gonna come unglued again?]

M193 tumbles pretty quickly causing devastating wound channels.

M193 tumbles pretty quickly causing devastating wound channels. I always thought that was a bit of a myth, but I've researched it, and it seems to be spot on. However, ALL bullets will tumble since the rear portion is heavier than the front, and momentum wants to make the heavy end pass up the lighter end. It is probably more pronounced in long spitzer type rifle projectiles than in short fat pistol bullets. I'm just guessing on that part, though.
