Congrats Cowboy. I finished over .500 Off to the Blue Bonnet Bowl!!! It's the Cotton Bowl which is steeped in tradition, pageantry, and history. bucknutdale should find that right up his alley. |

I'm good with a share of 3rd place. If I won, I wouldn't change my avatar so it's just as well this way. Congrats to teacup poodle. You did okay for a newbie. Coaltrain, I was rooting for you, but it wasn't meant to be. Walt, thanks for all of your efforts. It was a good pick'em contest. I take it we'll be doing a bowl game pick'em contest as well? For next year, I vote for one contest that runs through the bowl games, only one winner. I'll rev up the bowl stuff next week. I need a breather. The only reason to separate it into two tournaments is it allows some of the Mendoza clan, of which I was one for the better part of the year, to clean house and start anew. We could easily keep parallel books and crown a regular season winner, a bowl season winner and an overall winner, none of whom might be the same person. I think I'd vote for that. In fact, I may do it for this year, now that I'm thinkin' about it. From a setup standpoint, that is very easy for me to add. |

Walt, I gave you a lot of crap for a couple of mix-ups which you handled well and fixed quickly and easily. I realize you put in a lot of your time (which was probably billed to your clients like trn did) and we should all applaud you for it.

The bowl season is tough with all the holidays/traveling usually involved. bowl contest has typically been a separate event... and i think we should continue it that way.
