It kinda slipped my mind, but I always wanted a Remington 600. Caliber doesn't really matter, I just love the look with the short vent-ribbed barrel and the dog-legged bolt handle.

I do find it hilarious that someone who likes the hideous looking, soul-less AR-15 would call a Remington 600 ugly. Nothing but smooth lines on a conventional hunting rifle. No silly GI Joe gizmos plastered on it. |

Borrowed one chambered in .243 one year for deer hunting in Vermont (1970?). Shot just fine.

Pretty sure my older brother has one in .45-70. That's one of his favorite calibers, and I think he owns just about one of everything. LOL
Martini-Henry. Enfield trainer rifle in .22 LR. Guns I have never even HEARD of!
I looked in his gun vault one time and it looked like a new box of spaghetti. If you can't identify a rifle by the first few inches of its barrel, you have NO idea what all is in there.
And the handguns? Never mind ....................... LOL
