I forgot one negative.
That hook on the trigger guard has to GO. Nobody shoots that way any more, and it's ugly.

Oh I know what I'm doing just not gun duh it. And I agree - Glock do away with the non-rounded trigger guard on the Gen Fives.

I imagine people don't do it because they don't think of it, it doesn't bother them, they are worried about botching it, or they worry about the gun's "resale value." It bothered me, but it took me a while to think of it. I still think in terms of steel frames. I wasn't worried about botching it, since I had my reference lines sketched out, and I took it slow and easy. I'm not worried about resale value, either. I didn't decide to permanently alter the gun until I was sure it was a "keeper."
