I didn't do so well this weekend either, 6-9-1 but it was an interesting weekend of college football. Congrats to the Iowa Hawkeyes on destroying OSU, the Iowa win has put a fly in the soup on the Big10's chances of having someone in the CFP. But.....there is still the undefeated Wisconsin Badgers. There is a lot of football to be played yet and things can happen all over the country. Notre Dame and Miami play this coming weekend, Michigan State at OSU, Auburn can still reek havoc in the SEC. Oklahoma, my second favorite team, has a great offense, but I'm not too impressed with their defense, and I am a firm believer that defense wins games. TCU and Oklahoma should be a good game. I stayed up and watched the Trojans beat the Arizona Wildcats who I chose to win on Walt's advice and I should have known better.  My fault, not Walt's. What I took away from that game was how poor the officiating crew was. It was like watching Mr. Rogers mediate a gun fight on Saturday night on the south side of Chicago. LSU looked pretty good against Alabama, but damn, the Tide is an awesome team. Georgia Bulldogs looked great even though they didn't cover , and I am looking forward to the Bulldogs/Tide game, that should be a classic. Talking heads are slobbering all over themselves on ESPN, projecting this and that and there are still 4 weeks of football left with the CCG's. Ain't college football great!!! |

Good luck to the Buckeyes. well obviously it was grossly unfair iowa was wearing the same color as the fans in the stands. pretty clear j.t. thought he was throwing the ball into the stands when, to his surprise, someone caught it numerous times wearing black and starting running the other direction.  |

Oklahoma, my second favorite team, has a great offense, but I'm not too impressed with their defense, and I am a firm believer that defense wins games.
