I'm looking for new ideas for Turkey day side dishes. Usually I make dishes like: Creamed onions Dill carrots Oyster and hot sausage stuffing Squash souffle and Green bean casserole <---- this one stays for sure
This year I would like to change it up. Ideas welcome. Thanks!

Mushroom. I've never tried this but maybe add some crumbled bacon at the serve.

Sounds good. Makes me think a good crimini or Hen of the woods mushroom with a touch of sauted garlic and bacon. Hmm, I may just do that. Risotto is really not that difficult.

I'll make my usual Worlds (Not So) Famous asparagus casserole. Currently shelling pecans from this years crop for pecan pies, pecan shortbread cookies, and my niece will make a jalapeno pecan cheese log. I have about 30 lbs of pecans in the shell. Should end up with enough pecans to last through next year until the next crop comes in.
