they start this wknd you know how dare you besmirch the quality of teams like the mean green of north texas, the 'true' men of troy, the programs participating in the long-running cure bowl, and my dad's (and grandma's) alma mater, the thundering herd! not to mention action u taking the field tuesday, and the famous gasparilla bowl, which i just had for lunch at cafe verde last week and it was awesome. |

If you don't want to watch the bowls this weekend, you can watch the West Florida vs. Texas A&M Commerce D2 national championship game Saturday on ESPN2 at 6 PM EST. It's two contrasting teams, balanced offense vs. prolific passing offense, and the biggest Cinderella story in NCAA college football history.

Holy crap! I gotta get the next round up. Tomorrow! Get ready!! There are 21 games from Saturday through Friday. I'd put them all in this round. That leaves 4 games the following Saturday, no games on Sunday, and then 5 games on New Years day for a total of 9 in the next round. The last game will be the national championship game in Atlanta. |

I thought about it, but this round is really the end of the "who really cares bowls" through the 27th. We get into some good stuff starting the 28th. I'm going to do a post Xmas round 3 through the new years eve bowls. |
