If your Mini overheats you make select from an assortment of AR's or a tricked out Mini with scope. Redundancy is key.

If I have to shoot so fast that it overheats, I have a funny feeling that I've gotten into something that is better off dealt with by a squad, rather than all by myself.

Whatcha got there, Mepro? I remember you telling me before, one of the cheaper brands of optics that work pretty good. Mepros are Israeli and not actually cheap so I'm thinking it's something else.

Nope.  It's a "Sight Mark" --- somewhere around $50.  Works great for my needs.  However I'm seriously thinking about changing to a normal telescopic sight, which doesn't require having to turn it on or off, or risking a dead battery at the wrong time.  I always think "worst case" scenario, which is why I never take the iron sights off my scoped rifles.

I have a Redfield Revolution 2-7x33 scope on mine. Love it and seems a perfect fit on a Ranch Rifle. Ruger Mini specific Warne QD rings. Scope on, scope off.

That's a really nice scope, but too rich for my blood.
