After all this, it is looking like LBJ and George will be Lakers next season.
I dislike losing Nance, but the mix of kids and vets is very interesting heading into next season.

I dislike losing Nance, but the mix of kids and vets is very interesting heading into next season. had to laugh out loud thinking of this thread's title... when after making massive roster changes, subtracting 6 older players who didn't fit and adding 5 fresh younger faces, that the cavs have run off 3 straight wins, averaged 128 pts/game in those wins, lebron going 37 pts/10 reb/15 assists, 22/12/19, then 24/8/10 playing just 3 quarters in the blowout over boston. 44 assists in 3 games while still averaging 28/game himself as well as 10 boards. james=team cancer.... obviously. |

what is the thread title? what did you call this guy? I love how now it’s only james vs jordan (which you threw in at the end) instead of the majority of your post which claimed that it was lebron’s massive ego causing their woes this year. the team pulls the trigger and jettisons all the ‘stars’ previously assembled and instead rolls the dice on adding 5 youngsters, the team wins 4 straight including avenging 2 earlier blowout losses to the celtics and thunder, and you can’t admit that maybe you jumped the gun with your asinine title? you’re the one who called him a cancer. the performance of the team, and james, in the past week sure does make it look like thomas/rose/wade et al might have been the issue. the least you could do is admit that you might be wrong. the absolute least. |

If it's just about championships, fair enough. That would make Bill Russell the GOAT. And who knows? With 11 titles, maybe he is. he was a player/coach for a couple of those too, wasn’t he? and how many other celtics had more than 6? |
