The sad part is how many fools will believe his tripe because he's a 'military man' and must really know what he's talking about. NE oHIo for instance. When an AR-15 tears a body apart I wonder what the minimum and maximum amount of body parts are left scattered about.

I do however own one piece that shoots a .177cal bullet. At the distance shown in that video will blow bigger holes than either of those two rounds did. |

So a bb gun can do more damage than a AR-15?? since you can't read.....what i said was, a BB is .177 cal. I have one firearm that shoots a .177 cal bullet, that given the tests shown in your video, will do a lot more damage, at that range, to that specific target material, than either of the two rounds used in your video. |

No, it's because those guns are sometimes used for hunting. Coyotes, deer, feral pigs are a few examples.

ARs and any gun that can take a large magazine simply isn't necessary for civilians to own. There is no justification for it whatsoever, IMO. I have no problem with an AR other than the fact that it glamorizes the gun in ways that are, well, just a bit unsavory for a civilian mindset...But that said, if it has a restrictor on mag size, something that ought to be an easy fix, I'm okay with it. |

No magazine limit for coyotes or feral pigs in ohio, nor caliber restrictions. 3 shot for migratory birds (federal) 3 shot for shotgun (deer season) 410 through 10ga. when walt says, 'not much of a hunter" I'm betting he hasn't a clue as to how many pigs, or coyotes will show up to bait. which is why when my nephew and i are hunting dogs I quit carrying my bolt gun, and started bringing the AR. When shooting pigs in so. ohio on my buddies place, i use the SKS. .223 is a little light in the ass. it would be fine for javelina out west. however the average pigs in ohio run 150-230. the 7.62 X 39 packs a bit more punch, as that video shows. |
