Apparently, banning bump stocks was way more "additional regulation" than they had in mind. They opposed the legislation to ban them after issuing a statement supporting vague, unspecified, "additional regulation". That don't cut it. My statement: "They advocate for gun assemblies that are the most lethal to the largest number of people in the shortest amount of time." still stands. I'm sure if Goebbels were still around, he'd hire you in a minute. Unless of course you truly believe the NRA wants mass shootings on a large scale. And if that's the case, you truly are in Willie and Mike land. In Mike land there is no guns. So there can't be any mass shootings. |

You are so wrong it ain't funny. The NRA teaches self-defense with a firearm. If a bad guy dies because the defender was properly trained, that fault lies SQUARELY on the bad guy.
If you don't so something stupid like attacking a gun carrier, chances are you will NOT be harmed. Tell that to the parents of the dead in Florida, or Newtown, or...
Why didn't those parents have the foresight to demand that armed personnel be in place on those campuses EVERY DAY? The entire nation now knows that schools are easy targets, and any parent who doesn't want his child protected to the fullest extent possible has his own child's blood on his hands if something goes wrong.
It's no different from failing to secure a child in a child safety seat. If your child is injured in a wreck because of YOUR failure to secure him, that's on YOU. And the law makes that very plain. |
