Tech founders comprise a large portion of the list. Amazon used technology to be at the top. I'll send you a tuition slip.

Nationalize all their assets and apply them to the country's debt. Hell, that's what they advocate.

Nationalize all their assets and apply them to the country's debt. Hell, that's what they advocate. Don't know bout Bezos but Gates & Buffet give away tons. That's what the Willies of the world don't want to admit. Be it multi-multi-multi-millionaire athletes, business people, every day Joes & Janes or whoever, many people set up orgs to fund the needy, w/o .gov intrusion or they just donate, as a group, billions. Though .gov does make sure you do it right (gotta follow the rules, what). And if you're famous enough, like JJ Watt, you get others to donate to your fund to help others. Multiplication is a wonderful tool.
It has been estimated that in 2016 Americans have donated almost 400,000,000,000 dollars to charity. Individuals, corporations and foundations all contributed, with individuals leading the way. Giving by individuals grew at a higher rate than the other sources of giving, outpacing giving by foundations and by corporations. Giving to all nine major categories of recipient organizations grew, making 2016 just the sixth time in the past 40 years that this has occurred. The nine categories are religion; education; human services; giving to foundations; health; public-society benefit; arts, culture and humanities; international affairs; and environment and animals. Giving in '16 tells us that Americans remained generous, despite it being a year punctuated by economic and political uncertainty. '17 & '18 numbers should be interesting to see.
