USC, who finished 2nd in the Pac12 with a record of 12-6 and 23-11 overall and played in the CCG...did NOT make it into the Tournament. Arizona St., who finished 8th in the conference with a record of 8-10 and 20-11 overall and was bounced out of the Conf. tournament in the first round...got in.
Pardon my French, but WTF?

Hmmmm....I think I figured it out.
Arizona State beat #1 seed Kansas by 10 and #1 seed Xavier by 16. Stunk up the rest of the season, but I gotta admit...that's impressive.

I hear ya____ and Dick Vitale hears ya: "It is an embarrassment and a humiliation that Oklahoma State is sitting at home right now while Oklahoma, who lost 11 of their last 15 games and who hasn't won a road game since January 1st, is in the Tournament."

...and, I might add, TCU is in? Who did they beat that opens a door? They lost to OU twice.

Where was UNC-Ashville ranked? Shows how far the NIT has fallen over the years. Metu, the Trojans best player, opted not to play so as not to risk injury and to get ready for the NBA draft. Still, could be worse...USC is still playing. The Bruins? Not so much....
