streamable.com/b4benplayed the first 4 games. looked embarrassingly bad. then sat out with a shoulder injury. never returned and was never given a timetable on when he would return. the sixers GM cryptically implied all season that he had he had a case of the yips. finally came back yesterday. we all figured he was done for the season at this point. but the team surprised everyone and announced his return. he didn't look horrible! probably won't get many minutes in the post season though. but it's good to see him on the court. his skill set should compliment embiid and simmons nicely if he develops a good shot. i see a lil dwayne wade/james harden/kyrie irvin in his game. prob won't shoot as well as those players but i wouldn't be surprised if he could get to the rim as well as they all could.

And he got back just in time............... to take Embiid out. And the curse continues. on the bright side, fult'z shoulder is not hurt from knocking out embiid. embiid needs surgery but can't get it until swelling goes down. after surgery he's out 2-4 weeks. so it's not looking good for round 1. don't think the 76ers are good enough to win a round w/o him. |

on the bright side, fult'z shoulder is not hurt from knocking out embiid. embiid needs surgery but can't get it until swelling goes down. after surgery he's out 2-4 weeks. so it's not looking good for round 1. don't think the 76ers are good enough to win a round w/o him. some guys are saying embiid could be back for game 2 of the first round, depending on his pain threshold. sixers are 2-0 with 2 blowouts without him. either non playoff teams have completely quit or 76ers are still a good team without him. ben simmons has been fabulous of late. |
