We lost a very dear friend on Easter Sunday. He was an outstanding member of the community and I truly believe Kenny had no enemies on this earth. He had started burning some trash on his farm, came in to town to participate in our annual "carrying the Cross" around the square before Easter Sunday. Went back home and realized the fire was not out, he called 911 and by the time the FD and medics got there, he had got himself burnt rather badly. He told the medics, " I think I might have messed up this time". He succumbed to his injuries Easter Sunday, surrounded by a loving family. He was our Sunday school teacher for years and years and an inspiration to all who knew him. I thought it was fitting that he met Jesus face to face on Easter. I loved him like a father.

Sorry to hear that. Dear Friends like that are the family that we've chosen...and can a lot of times, hurt worse than losing actual family members. I guess you left AZ at the right time after all.
