      In your erroneous formulation of the potential energy above, your false assumption is that the concrete was pulverized after falling (on average) 700 feet.

      So, go back and study the film of the demolition.

      Also, you mistakenly question the empirical fact that the concrete was, visibly, pulverized by explosives.

      Try starting with the empirical evidence, instead.  It's called, "science."

      As for what happened to the potential energy, I have a far more significant question.

      What incinerated and completely pulverized those 1,000 missing human bodies in the towers?

      (The concrete wasn't the only thing that was completely pulverized by high-tech explosives on 9/11.)
