Being an old double shotgun guy I've seen what some in the old days have been able to do and watched one, w talent, do w a modern double gun. Talent and patience can yield some interesting products. They never benefited financially but their work lives on. If you have the money to secure a piece it is a functioning piece of artwork. And they are all still tools that could be used to hunt with.

What amazes me is how the tool seems to go through metal like butter. Can't speak for a PP SS watch, but old SG receivers do scratch easily. Particularly the nickel ones. Not all SS has the same hardness, nor do, obviously, all metals and their combinations. Enter Marc w his metrology expertise in 3-2-1
