As was discussed at the end of the last contest, are we going to run 2018 through the national championship game to have 1 full season winner? I vote yes.

BTW, I won the bowl contest, but it meant less as fewer players participated.

I like the idea. The only issue is availability. Some folks disappear during the holiday season. Opinions?

It's 50-43-2 actual so your records are getting more ridiculous with each of your sig changes: 51-42-2 OVER FLORIDA. ALWAYS IN THE LEAD. 52-42-2 IF THE CRYBABY LIZARDS WERE HONEST UF will never recognize prior to 1906 when the university approved, sponsored, and supported the football program. UF celebrated its centennial in college football in 2006 and topped the season off with the 41-14 woodshed whipping of the bucknuts out in Glendale.

I like the idea. The only issue is availability. Some folks disappear during the holiday season. Opinions? Most don't leave. They take the time off after the regular season and get too lazy to gear back up. To be sure, they are still around and watching the bowl games, the later games for sure and the earlier games they have interest in. With the 5 day early signing period during the middle of the bowl season, people have ample reason to stick around. It would have been interesting to see the final result through the bowl games last year. Coaltrain fell apart at the end and I would have been in the running for the winning douche as I surged at the end. Teacup poodle may not be wearing the crown he does now. As it is, I under appreciate my bowl contest win with only 14 players. Players who had no chance dropped out. It's your decision. So far the responses have been positive. As I recall, you originally suggested it last year in December. This contest could grow to a crescendo surrounding the national championship game including trying to figure out how to break potential ties for 1st place if we don't want to crown more than 1 douche.

I generally vote yes. My one hesitation is that for a majority of bowl games, teams often have a much different approach. They play a lot of players. The focus isn't as much on winning. Trick plays all over the field. Players sit out. Harder to gauge the spread, and make a pick. Although we all have to deal with it, so I guess in a way, it doesn't really matter.

It's your game, so it's your call. From dishonest to pathetically dishonest. I corrected my error. Now you do the same. you falsely claim 11 SEC football championships while the SEC lists only 8. The SEC also notes that 1 other title was vacated because of the flagrant cheating of Cheatin' Charley Pell. At least the SEC Wickipedia site is honest even if you aren't. Just because you Jorts wearing Gayturds refuse to acknowledge that first defeat of a sorry Lizard team doesn't mean it didn't happen. The second major precursor to the University of Florida was the Florida Agricultural College, established at Lake City by Jordan Probst in 1884. Florida Agricultural College became the state's first land-grant college under the Morrill Act. In 1903, the Florida Legislature, desiring to expand the school's outlook and curriculum beyond its agricultural and engineering origins, changed the name of Florida Agricultural College to the "University of Florida," a name the school would hold for only two years. Now, the state reorganized the state university system in 1905 and moved the University of Florida to Gainesville in 1906, and that is the false history you lizard lickers choose to believe, but the University of Florida in Lake City sent a football team to Macon, Georgia, for that 52-0 shellacking in 1904. Like it or not, those are the facts.

Here's a link to support my FACTS.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1904_University_of_Florida_Blue_and_White_football_teamThe 1904 University of Florida White and Blue football team represented the University of Florida in the sport of American football during the 1904 college football season. This was not the modern Florida Gators of the University of Florida in Gainesville, which begins in 1906, but one of its four predecessor institutions: a school previously known as Florida Agricultural College, based in Lake City. The team played several major colleges, including Mike Donahue's first year coaching Auburn and John Heisman's first coaching Georgia Tech, failing to post a win. Florida-Georgia dispute[edit] Florida and Georgia do not agree on when the Florida–Georgia rivalry began.[8] The University of Georgia's athletic department counts the 1904 match.[9] The game was held in Macon, Georgia, and Georgia won 52–0.[9] UGA sports historian Dan Magill sums up Georgia's attitude: "That's where Florida was back then. We can't help it if they got run out of [Lake City]."[10]

Like it or not, those are the facts.1. I recognize 11 total SECs, not ever going to change on 84/85/90. There have been lots of cheaters in the SEC and no one has ever been vacated after the fact as what happened in 1984. UF won the SEC on the field in 85/90. Screw the SEC, I'm counting them. 2. UGALY is 1-0 vs UF at Lake City, only named that for a couple of years as it was Florida Ag before that. Change your series wins to 50 and add UF at Lake City to opponents list. In 1905 when the Buckman Act was passed, the state legislature started an all male school in Gainesville which combined 4 schools. It was the creation of a new state university named The University of the State of Florida which was reduced to The University of Florida in 1909. The first year had 107 students. I'm surprised they even fielded a football team in 1906. East Seminary College which was 1 of the 4 schools combined was in Gainesville since 1853. That is why UF uses that date as its founding date, but more accurately, it should be 1906 with the founding of the new university. I guess its all about some silly founding date competition with FSU. It has nothing to do with football. 3. Didn't realize that schools paid players back in the day. It's no wonder that the longer established schools did so well with so much more experience in payola. It was interesting to read that UF set up an AA to support the schools athletics because they didn't like the payola for the athletes. The scholarships used at UF were the forerunner of the NCAA scholarships used today.
