Rules are rules, but you made your early game picks at 6 or 7 minutes past the top of the hour. I imagine all of those games were just kicking off. I encourage you to count them rather than take them as losses as there wasn't any time to gain a competitive advantage. I didn't see the early picks at 6-7 minutes in but I'm leaning toward allowing Walt his picks since he said he made them on Thursday. Unless Walt is No. 1 and I'm No.2 at the end of the season, then I shall add the losses back in.  He did. At one point, Walt's post was listed as 38 minutes old and the time was around 44 minutes after the hour. You don't have to worry about winning. I'm going to win this year.  |

I'll take the hit. The contest has to establish a line. The line is the scheduled kickoff. I thought I had posted the picks on Thursday at the same time I was battling the spreadsheet issue. Mark down your five losses. Rules are rules. Yep, never have been able to pick on a game after it has kicked off. The only exception has been Chastity the coin flipping cat. Those picks can be made by coin flips at anytime as Chastity isn't a real player participant. Walt, if you made your picks post before the kickoffs, count them. Your first post time had to be awfully close with the kickoffs as I don't know of any game that kicks off without some pregame coverage. Fred, that was awfully close, cut Walt some slack. |
