I was -2 (6-8-1) in week one and +4 (10-6) week 2.
Lord knows I struggle to do simple things like remember Army is not the Midshipmen (LOL!) but -2 & +4 = +2, no?

I'm going to use me as an example so you can help me to understand: Week 1 = 10-4-1 Week 2 = 9-7 Total = 19-11-1 I don't see the push being included as it wasn't a win or a loss so I'm scoring at 19-11 for both weeks combined. I can see that I'm 8 picks over .500 in that I'd have to miss 8 consecutive picks to get down to .500. Seem to me that I should be +8. However, you have me at +3 which I don't understand. Why am I not +8 and how did you arrive at +3? Why aren't we netting wins and losses to get the Mendoza Line score? The total wins scoring at 19 is obvious. If it was a baseball team record, the team would have a .633 winning percentage. I'd likely win this contest if I averaged .633 over the course of the contest. |

I'd likely win this contest if I averaged .633 over the course of the contest. 31 potential picks so far Perfect Mendoza would be correct 15.5 picks With the push, I rounded up to 16 picks as the line. THUS,19 correct picks is +3. Now that I think about it though, nobody got points for the push, so I should round down or give evryone a point. Either way, that would put you at +4. But calling 19-11-1 "plus 8" implies you have made 8 picks better than Mendoza when in fact you have only made 4 better. |

I assume the +6 on the left means the number of points over the mendoza, but it looks wrong. The Mendoza should be 15, right? We had 14 games and a push the first week for a 7, and then 16 games this week for an 8. That should be 15, assuming 7+8 still equals 15... |
