Funny-- and clever.
The physical appearance of Christ is a fascinating topic, and has varied from culture to culture (and time frame.)
I am one of those who believes that the Sindon of Edessa (aka Shroud of Turin) is a reverse, 3-D, radiographic snapshot of Christ's Resurrection, as described by the former Air Force Academy physicist, John Jackson, who led the 1978 Shroud of Turin University Research Project (STURP.)
The earliest extant iconic representations of Christ date to the 6th century-- e.g., the Pantocrator mosaic at St. Catherine's (Orthodox) Monastery in the Sinai Desert of Egypt.* (The oldest existing copy of the Bible-- the Codex Sinaiticus-- also came from St. Catherine's Monastery.)
Scholars, including the British author Ian Wilson, have identified peculiar facial characteristics in these earliest Orthodox icons of Christ that seem to be directly derived from the Sindon of Edessa (Syria.) The Edessa Sindon was enshrined at the Blanchernae (Orthodox) Church in Constantinople in 944 A.D., and was stolen by Frankish knights who sacked Constantinople in 1204 A.D., during the 4th Crusade. It surfaced, publicly, in France in the 13th century, and became the property of the Dukes of Savoy, at Torino.
Since then, it has been known as the Shroud of Turin.
Needless to say, the 6th century Orthodox icons of Christ do not closely resemble many of the Protestant paintings of Christ in northern Europe, which were painted 1,000 years or more after the Orthodox Pantocrator mosaic icons..

<SMH> Why must everything be about race to racists? In 1 Cornintians, chapter 9, Paul said: Paul’s Use of His Freedom 19 Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 20 To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. 21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. 22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. 23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
If Paul was enlightened by the Lord with such wisdom, why can't we come to terms with the possibility that GOD may choose to be all things to all people, to reach as many as he can?
