They are still the Rebels, right?? not officially. that flag, that mascot is in the dustbin The Ole Miss football team are "The Rebels" and their fight song is "Forward Rebels."
Their mascot was the Black Bear, but has been changed to the Landshark this year, which makes no sense since it refers to a stupid hand sign for their defense, which is bad.
They should have stuck with the bear.
