When UF fell behind 31-14 with just over 19 minutes left in the game, it's like somebody hit a start button that has been lacking since the poodle game. Both sides of the ball were playing like they did before the 2 week break. It shocked the hell out of me as I had prepared myself for a loss going into the game. To top it off, UF was taking knees at the USCe 1 yard line with almost 2 minutes left in the game. It could have just as easily been 42-31 and 4 TDs scored in about 15 minutes of play. BTW, UF due to injuries was without a starting WR/punt returner, a starting OL, and a starting safety so injuries were a bit of a wash except UF's backup punt returner fumbled a punt which allowed USCe to score a FG. |
