- 4 all star level players in the starting 5. - embiid, ben simmons, tobias harris, jimmy butler
- the 5th being jj reddick who is one the best pure shooters in the NBA.
- embiid's game has improved and now is a legit mvp candidate. he turns the ball over less. he recognizes when a double team is coming. he plays unselfish. everyone in the league loves him.
- ben simmons still can't shoot but his defense is phenomenal and he sees the court so well. just unstoppable in transition. can't be defended by a guard so when a forward switches to him, mis matches are created all over the court.
- tobias harris is a great all around compliment. he is a top 10 3pt shooter in the league. but he can also beat you off the dribble. he can create his own shot.
- jimmy butler is cranky and annoying b/c he's no longer the main guy and he shoots a lot less here. but he is talented and defends the wing well.
- everyone in the starting 5 is 6'8 or taller except reddick. embiid is 7'1, an elite rebounder and probably the best player in the league at protecting the rim.
sixers have a great shot at making the nba finals this year. they have some depth issues on their bench but usually in the playoffs, you only play 7 or 8 guys at a time.

Especially since Milw traded for Mirotic. Not a big difference but enough that over a game, over a series, they just have too many high quality bodies to throw at you. In a PO series they'll still throw 9-10 at you and be very effective. Too many interchangeable parts, they play too well together, for most teams. Catch them on a bad night? OK but they won't have a bad series. GS V Milw in the finals.

GS V Milw in the finals. i like milwaukee. if i wasn't so invested into the 76ers i'd prob root for them over any other team this year. i like how they've built their team around giannis, who the 76ers could have drafted but selected michael carter williams instead. laker fans are still confused as to why they gave up on brooke lopez. the eastern conference is looking like it's going to be fun come playoff time. legit 4 really good teams (toronto, bucks, 76ers and celts) with the pacers not being far behind. 76ers are def still a flawed team. ben simmons can't really shoot. they lack depth on the bench. jj redick is atrocious on defense. 76ers have no one in their starting five that can guard an elite guard like a kyle lowry or kyre irving. even embiid can be contained if the defense has the discipline. he'll crush you if you bite on one of his moves but if you stand your ground, he doesn't like having to work extra hard to get to the basket. and as great as embiid is, he tends to get a bit emotional and upset on the floor when things aren't going his way. when the 76ers play a team that makes embiid work a bit, he tends to hang on the perimeter and shoot lower percentage threes.
