well, Shit........maryland gave them a game. depending on the MSU Minnie game, this might be the last test on LSU's tourney. Maryland fields the youngest in the 64, if they stay, they will control the B10 next year.

No, I don't keep up with the team, but you can't avoid the negative publicity surrounding Will Wade.  It has been the lead story on local TV news.
I have to say I am favorably impressed with the way the players have handled the distraction and their resolution to stay focused on the final goal.

I doubt very seriously that they are the best team in the country and I'll continue my unbroken streak of NOT watching them.

too bad, as far as the games have gone this tourney, the LSU/Maryland was pretty good theater. Both teams played very physical in the paint, neither giving any quarter. Refs blew the whistle a few times just to give themselves a break.

However, MSU looked pretty good vs Minnesota, and MSU is a better team than Maryland. The wife has MSU advancing to face VT, I have LSU advancing to face Duke.

I don't have any knowledge of college basketball teams, therefore I wouldn't dare try to predict anything. If LSU keeps winning, cool.  If they don't I won't lose any sleep over it.

he's quite a player no doubt. what i don't see is the level they have to play at to get to the final 4. LSU has to go through "murders row". as physical as maryland played 'em, LSU stood toe to toe. we'll see if they stand toe to toe with MSU.

Zion is going to get his every game. But Duke is basically a 4 man rotation. They might pull it off....but if any of them get cold or into foul trouble, they’re extremely vulnerable.
