The babe with the nice chest said ( ) .........."getting out of the 8-slot, and avoiding tampa in round 1, would be the goal." marc says.......damn.....3-0 in the series, play another here in C-bus, run this bastard!!!! tampa is playing like they're trying not to lose, but they've lost their composure......house of cards and all that. lol. true. easy to say now. didn't see this coming at all. of course, this series is not over yet either. and yes, the #1 seed club seemed a lot more focused on being physical sunday night than playing their game of speed/attack that got them the best regular season record in a quarter century. I'm guessing they get back to that tonite.

One of the more stunning results I have ever seen in my 45 years on this planet. Truly head scratching in so many ways and not all that surprising in others when you look at Cooper's record in Tampa.
Regardless, congrats to the Jackets as they move on. Really is a great story and a long time coming. I can go back to cheering them again.

I was watching the game on a flight from houston to orlando and when tampa tied it at 3-3 late in the 2nd, you wondered if that moment might be the tipping point to get the bolts back in the series. what the cbj did in the next 1:00, specifically how panerin was able to maintain control of the puck across the blue line surrounded by 3 defenders, which led to the rebound goal that put the jackets back up 4-3, was nothing short of magical. and bob was equally as good throughout the 3rd when tampa was throwing the kitchen sink at him. quite a ribbon on this one...

i really hate john torterella (he's the worst) Would be curious to know why as I hear it a lot. Most people saying it wouldn't bat an eye at him being the coach of their team either.

Would be curious to know why as I hear it a lot. Most people saying it wouldn't bat an eye at him being the coach of their team either. 2004 eastern conference finals. In 2003–04, Tortorella's fourth season with the team, the Lightning ran away with the Southeast Division title, tallying 106 points—the second-best record in the league. The Lightning were the top seed in the Eastern Conference and proceeded to defeat the New York Islanders, the Montreal Canadiens, and the Philadelphia Flyers to win the Prince of Wales Trophy and the Eastern Conference Championship. In the Stanley Cup Finals, they defeated the Western Conference champion Calgary Flames four games to three, winning the first Stanley Cup in franchise history. In doing so Tortorella became just the third American-born coach to win it and the first in 13 years. The team was in its eleventh year of existence. It was the last Stanley Cup won before the 2004–05 NHL lockout. A few days after winning the Stanley Cup, Tortorella won the 2004 Jack Adams Award as coach of the year. must be an east coast thang.......love the coach that looses, hate the coach that wins

It was actually their 12th year not 11th.

shows you how random hockey can be sometimes. bob was brilliant last night, and 2 ricochet shots (good things happen when you shoot on goal) within 0:14 had the jackets up 2-1 midway thru the 3rd and in position to literally steal game 1. but the bruins were the better team in boston for the majority of the game last night, despite bob's 34 saves, and in ot a beautiful cross ice pass set up an easy tap in. columbus looked pretty rusty for the first 30 minutes... I expect more of a full game in game 2.
