College kids at TT tore up the city of Lubbock after the MSU game___I fear what they'll do to the Buddy Holly statue if TT wins tonight.
Virginia up by 3 at the half__so far so good

I didn't watch more than about the same. I can't quite understand why, but the obvious difference between pro and college talent in football doesn't bother me; in fact, I like the college game better. But somehow college hoops is nearly unwatchable to me. The talent level just isn't there. I'd guess that any G-league team could smoke any college team without breaking a sweat, and I can barely watch G-League games.

Pro basketball? are they allowed to play defense in pro basketball these days?

Nobody can shoot, nobody can cut, nobody can create. With the OT, UVA and TT played nearly an NBA length game, and one of the teams couldn't get to 80 points, even with a 3 point line 3 feet closer to the hoop?

Not a hockey fan i take it I like hockey, but I will say this...in both hockey and soccer, doubling the size of the net wouldn't hurt. What's the downside? Rangers 12, MapleLeafs 8?

In hockey, somebody is allowed to guard the net. not in pro basketball Okay...make the hoop bigger and allow one person of the opposing team to goaltend. Problem solved. there was more room on the court back in the day because the athletes were as physically imposing as most in today's generation are. makes it much tougher for the free flowing cutting and passing w/players being so much stronger. you could make the court bigger, or widen the free throw lanes again or go to the international trapezoid lanes to open it up. that said, the 3 point shot is more productive than those beautiful feeds for layups. shooting 35% from 3 (35-100 = 105 pts) is better than shooting 52% from 2 (52-100 = 104 pts), provided you take the same number of shots in each category.
