Missed that the other night but wow, what a goal with two guys stick checking him. The move at the blueline was equally impressive. Reminds of a famous Lightning goal in the playoffs the year they won the Cup. Hometown boy Vinny Lecavalier breaks the hearts of Montreal with a between-the-legs goal to tie the game in the waning seconds (skip to the :45 mark). Bolts went on to sweep the Habs in the series.

There was a guy years ago who advanced a theory that always stuck with me. He claimed that there were different kinds of mental geniuses. One could be a physics genius, or a math genius, or musical genius, or, yes, a basketball or hockey genius. He put them all in the same category of intellect. He claimed that complete mastery of one's body took every bit as much advanced brain power as understanding, say, quantum physics. It was just a different area of the brain. Shots like that, on ice, at full speed, with opponent sticks and a goalie to beat? The guy claimed we should call him a "genius".

Milano might have some competition now. This is absurd.
