For my daughter's birthday, I took her to Illinois to see her favorite player play in two matches earlier this month. Ironically, wearing my Ohio State sweatshirt sparked a conversation with that player's mother who invited us down to meet her daughter, Jacqueline Quade, after the match.

Tonight, Jacqueline plays the last home match of her amazing career. She penned this open letter to the game she loves so I thought I would share. Her passion is genuine and is what college sports is all about. I am proud my daughter picked such an amazing young lady to follow so closely. Enjoy...
