Other carriers have talked about it, one even lied about it and one other one launched it in certain parts of one city but wouldn't tell their customers where it was. Well, today T-Mobile launches the first REAL 5G network nationwide that will be an absolute game changer. You're welcome.

Does this mean my phone won't drop the call when I go into a tunnel?

Does this mean my phone won't drop the call when I go into a tunnel? The chances are greatly increased, how's that?

My wireless router at home is 5G. Most have been for some time however there is a big difference between managing a few devices in a very small radius and the amount of traffic cell towers pass through in a short period of time.

In short, it makes cell phone reception penetrate windows and buildings better with low-band spectrum while increasing upload/down and data transmission speeds on the mid-band range from a high end of about 50mbps today to upwards of 400mbps.

I was the only person at our table with cell reception. Coincidence? Maybe this 5g IS hot stuff. ...and yeah...They scheduled a wedding on Championship Saturday...SMH...

Yeah, bad deal on the wedding date. Not sure who your provider is but it is very doubtful you experienced 5G. Even with us, you have to have a 5G-capable phone to hit the 5G frequencies and we only off two devices currently. Most OEMs will begin offering a full lineup of 5G-capabale devices by early 2020, pending any outstanding purchase agreements with the carrier for non-5G devices.

Ten years ago you couldn't walk 20 feet into a Walmart or Home Depot without losing reception. Last spring I was in the middle of a 25,000 acre cattle ranch in the Texas panhandle on horseback and called my daughter and sent her a photo of some bison roaming in the pasture. Nearest town was 30 miles away.

While I touted my "5G" T-Mobile signal, we did notice that the little moniker at the top kept blinking "4G", so everyone blew off my 5G brag and claimed it was just a closer cell tower.

They were right. The only 5G phones so far are the Samsung Note 10+ and the OnePlus 7T Pro. By the way, thanks for a being a customer. LOL
