2019 bowl douche report-the finale

congrats to mickey, whose consistency thru all 3 phases of this year's post season shindig, wins him this year's top spot. results below;


mickey - 9 + 9 + 9 = 27
kaz - 9 + 7 + 9 = 25
pfredd - 6 + 10 + 9 = 25
bamorin - 7 + 8 + 9 = 24
cowboy - 6 + 8 + 10 = 24
dale - 6 + 7 + 9 = 22
cb - 8 + 5 + 8 = 21
dr jen - 4 + 7 + 10 = 21
daleko - 7 + 5 + 9 = 21
gatr - 7 + 6 + 7 = 20
cwg - 5 + 5 + 9 = 19
trn - 5 + 8 + 6 = 19
beuycek - 3 + 8 + 8 = 19
mark - 6 + 5 + 8 = 19
oujour - 5 + 6 + 7 = 18
walt - 4 + 6 + 0 = 10
al1 - 5 + 0 + 0 = 5


mick got 9 right in each round to finish at 27, 2 ahead of kaz and fredd, and 3 clear of bam and cowboy. cowboy and dr. jen had the best scores in round 3, w/10 right. more than half (9) of our players finished above 50% in their picks of the 42 bowl games on our slate (1 was a push), which is both pretty good and frankly quite surprising, seeing the level of football expertise demonstrated down thru the years here.

anyway, it was fun, thanks for taking part. but now, as is (or should be) the traditional custom at the end of another college football season, let us all bowel, eh, uh, sorry, let us all bow to the bowl douche of 2019.


in terms of picks, there was 1 game where everyone was on the right side (cincinnati over boston college).
the group went 15-1 on notre dame-iowa st (only gatr had the cyclones)
everybody was 14-2 on penn st-memphis (walt and daleko missed it)
the record was 13-2 on arizona st-florida st (gatr and trn opted for the noles).

on the flip side, mickey was the only one who had kent state over utah state; the other 16 of us missed it.
only 3 players had minnesota over auburn (bamorin, kaz, dale)
and only 3 players chose texas over utah (mickey, oujour, yours truly).

Thanks for doing this holiday bowl tourney___It was fun this time around and sorry for the headaches that Kaz and I gave you__I had 2 michigan men nipping at my heels down the stretch
