I've been working on the road for a week and am really glad to be home. This morning I made our traditional pancake/bacon breakfast. Only today, in addition tot he usual buttermilk pancakes, I made up some walnut/maple syrup and cooked some banana pancakes too. What do you guys liek to do for your weekend breakfasts?

buttermilk pancakes (cook the sausage/bacon first and spoon some of the grease into the pancake batter for flavor), sausage or bacon, orange juice, milk, coffee. Once in a while either blueberry pancakes or pecan waffles. Once a month, cook sausage and make white gravy from the drippings, crumble up the sausage and mix into the gravy, spoon sausage gravy over biscuits.

Couple of pancakes and a bowl of fruit (usually just grapes and pineapple) for the kiddos, half a pound of bacon, scrambled eggs sprinkled with a little cheddar and white toast. The only variation to the weekend routine is to substitute sausage patties for the bacon and on a very rare occasion, an English muffin instead of toast.
Speaking of breakfast, my neighbor makes a great sausage casserole every New Year's morning to soak up the previous night's alcohol. If I think about, I will get the recipe from her and post.
