Here's some pics of Marc "Mad Scientist" Morin working on AR turntables in his kitchen with Jose and Stuart. March 12, 2020. Here's a pic of Marc with his mom, I'm guessing from a couple, three, four years ago. He made those cherry wood flower boxes on the house for his wife Barb.

Here is a picture from Wounded Knee in 1973. The main figure in the photo is Bobby Onco, a member of the Kiowa tribe from Oklahoma. He is celebrating the cease fire between the American Indian Movement and the federal marshals at Wounded Knee on March 8, 1973. The most interesting thing in the photo to me, is that little guy in the background literally holding on to his hat. That is a guy named Marc Morin. He was about 20 years old at the time. He travelled to South Dakota from Columbus to actively support the activity. I would encourage you to use this extra time that we all have to learn a little more about Wounded Knee (both incidents). This photo is archived in the Library of Congress.

I had that book "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" by Dee Brown. Today, I have no idea what happened to it. It's a shame--interesting book.

I never met him but the pictures help put a face to a name after all of these years. Sad to hear such a good man has been taken from us.

Bam was a hardcore antagonist to me when it came to football. Politically we agreed.
But he would be so obnoxiously ignorant when SEC football was discussed, even now I'm still not sure if he was trolling us or serious...
Beardless, I will miss you Bam.
R.I.P. Marc

Marc I think a lot of it was trolling, especially after we beat Bama. Him and I went at it a few times as we were both Buckeyes so I think he just liked to stir the pot with anyone who was willing. That said, he was very obviously a good man that gave back to an awful lot of people. Those types of people are more than the exception these days, unfortunately.

What did he major in at OSU.. ?... mechanical engineering I believe. but I'm not actually sure if he ever got his degree. we never talked about that. but he and his wife lived off campus when they first got married, and his family (brother was an osu grad also) have been connected with the university for a long time, and will continue to be with the scholarship he and his family established in the dept of natural resources.

RIP, Marc. It's a shame we don't see how many of us look. Putting a face to a name makes us all a bit more human.
