During an iRacing event on TV a couple of weeks ago, Kyle Larson had problems with his simulator. He said, (to the tech guy working with him) "I can't see it. Can you hear me? Hey nig ga." This was said to a black guy Kyle has known for several years, who said he laughed and was not offended. Larson, who is American/Japanese, was apologetic, but he was suspended without pay, then fired two days later. NASCAR also suspended Larson indefinitely, which means he will probably be back in a month or two after completing a "sensitivity training" session. No one at NASCAR has said if they would do the same for Bubba Wallace, who is the only black driver in the NASCAR top series.

If the person being spoken to wasn't offended, it's nobody else's business. What would they do if Larson won a race, and the black tech asked him if he wanted a little nip in celebration?
