In the absence of a a biz finance section, I'll post, for me, the most interesting news of the of the last two days. A electric truck start-up, I have followed for a bit, has seen its stock absolutely surge on Monday only to redact a bit today. Nikola Motors is in the market to produce over the road transport trucks and pick-ups. The pickup is called the Badger. 300 mile battery range, 600 mile when you add fuel cell capability, 900 HP and sub 3 sec 0-60. The Badger is sharp, unlike the POS Tesla PU and they'll take orders starting 6/29. Starting at 35/share, it rose to as much as 94, finishing today at almost 80. Market Cap exceeds Ford.![](https://hips.hearstapps.com/hmg-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/images/nikola-badger8-57c6de42ad8de13f0fcc32e02d53bab447b950c148decc2ccde27dacae892778-1591645110.jpg)

Business Section...I like it! If Ford gets a serious challenge to the F150, they are toast. The F150 is just about all they've got left.

Hmmmm. Business Section...I like it! If Ford gets a serious challenge to the F150, they are toast. The F150 is just about all they've got left. I'll go off this topic for a bit but <shudder> suggest you were right about one thing and this truck is an example if you add their OTR "18 wheel" trucks, the battle will be won in small but sig bites. Re the apparent GW, be the root cause whatever or not. This Covid thing has demonstrated to me a change would be beneficial. I've always said here the death of carbon fuel was affixed the day Rocky figured out gas was a product, not something to discard (When, was the only Q - That's the history of capitalism) but also believed that the solution was a home run change where big money could be made at lower end user cost. You can still do both w/o the home run.
Studied at length, Gates' Foundation work on Nuke Energy. Interesting stuff. Too bad Trump's issues w China screwed that pooch. For now. As an aside I would have paid money and covered my expenses to watch that negotiation, over the cpl of years it took. Because he believes technology is the solution to most things and still today ravenously reads anything on whatever is his latest target, he has interesting insights into GW and possible solutions. The work his foundation is doing is impressive, imv. The answer need not be .gov but getting more Gates to go down rabbit holes and come up empty but continue "drilling" holes. He was a brutal, take no prisoners capitalist, everything W thinks is bad and yet today........ Off topic...but a rant. If only Microsoft online support was as excited about helping as Gates. It's been a running joke for 40 years straight.
