After I read what the deal was I remembered I once took over a rotating equipment/turbine repair shop after I retired the first time in 2000, that had two tall garage doors for small truck entry and people. Both doors had a rope pull to close them w a "noose" to use as a grip. Never had an issue w the two Black and very capable machinists, the one Black engineer, Black welder, Black "sand" blaster or the two Black cleanup boys. And w the doors up they just hung there. Swinging in the breeze. It was located in a collar St L city next to Ferguson, MO. Home of the riots.

From what I've heard and read, sounds like it was a perfection loop, usually used in fishing.
