The next one up is...gulp....Peanutbutter-Banana French Toast. Sounds like a dish made for a kid. They only gave me a week to do this one since it's going to be published in the next issue of "Cooking & Such". I'll let you guys know how it goes.....

You do know that Elvis' favorite was PB/banana sandos? I think PB/banana FT with Canadian Grade A maple would be heavenly... With a side of the good bacon of course.

OK, this one's done. I used Italian bread for my French Toast to get a stiffer and thicker slice than regular loaf bread. Spread peanut butter on both sides with banana slices in between, then dipped in egg mix. I'm not a fan of PB & B sammies, so this didn't go over so well with me, but the others loved it. We sprinkled powdered sugar on them, and tried maple syrup...hit or miss on that. It's OK...but not going into my list of regular foods.
