Here's my favorite berry recipe. It doesn't get any better than that, IMO-- unless I have a bottle of cold champagne handy, preferably Korbel Natural chilled to 32 degrees F... I personally drew up the plans for all the Korbel expansion back in the 80's and spent a lot of time on site. The firm I worked for did 90% of the winery work in Sonoma County during the 80's. Name a winery here and I probably worked on it in some way, shape or form.

It was a trip where my wife and I also visited the old Russian Orthodox chapel at Fort Ross, and stayed at the Timber Cove Inn north of Bodega Bay. I would love to live in Sonoma County. Magnificent place! Had the best bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon I've ever tasted up there. It was called Wild Hog, but I could never find it in any stores here in Denver subsequently.
