Tennessee's record was factored into the -14 spread that Texas A&M covered by 7. You need to get a grip on reality. Ohio State played poorly and you can bet the CFP selection committee was unimpressed. They did play poorly... and won. As I just mentioned on the Ohio State board, after your Gators lose tonight and drop out of the top 10, Ohio State will have 1 win over the top 10 to aTm's 0. Top 25 wins would also be in favor of Ohio State, 2-1. Throw in a conference championship, albeit an uninspiring one, and the deck is stacked against the Aggies. Their only hope is Notre Dame beating Clemson so they slide into the 4 spot behind the Buckeyes. Dang, glad you can admit the obvious. The bucknuts are not all that good. I wasn't impressed so the committee can't be impressed. Indiana not playing today won't move up to #10. At worst, Iowa State flip flops with Oklahoma. Indiana stays at #11. Even if Florida loses, the Georgia win and winning the SEC East will keep the Gators ahead of Indiana. Tulsa will have to beat Cincinnati for Indiana to move up. I'm not sure that can happen as Cincinnati is the best team in Ohio.

A&M badass? Based on what? Their schedule has been shit. That's easy for you to say. Oklahoma didn't have to play Alabama and Florida. What part of Texas A&M is dominate on both lines of scrimmage did you not understand. For an example, check out the Aggies stats at Tennessee today. It's not that the Aggies covered the -14 spread by 7, it's the way they dominate a game in the trenches. They wear on you for 4 quarters. It isn't pretty boy football, but it is for damn sure effective. As they said in the post game show...you MIGHT have an argument...had the Gators not lost to LSU...but NOW? Oh well...as y'all said a couple years ago with the Buckeyes losses to Iowa & Purdue...Tough Luck, buddy...BSPiN's Committee TRIED to prop up the BS by keeping the gators ranked...but the BS shows thru.

Pretty easy to dominate the perennial loser little sisters of the poor that make up the rest of the SECond to the B1G Ten...

What about the rest of their schedule? Combined record of their other opponents is something like 20-50. And they lost one of those games you mentioned by 4 touchdowns. The other a 3-point win. What is so badass about all that? Texas A&M would pound your pretty boy Sooners on both lines of scrimmage. Congrats on 6 in a row and your push today. We may find out in the Cotton Bowl. What’s “pretty boy” about OU?

I'm not sure that can happen as Cincinnati is the best team in Ohio. I look over the Aggies schedule and the 2 things that stand__a 52-24 loss to Alabama and their 17-12 win over winless Vandy. They really don't have much to hang their hat on other than the Florida game and that got cheapened when Florida lost to LSU and will get cheapened even more when Alabama beats Florida by 4 or 5 TD's today. Honestly, I would rather see Cincinnati get the spot if they beat Tulsa today!

LSU is 7-0 in the last 7 games, 8-1 overall. It's an all SEC schedule so you can cite garbage all you want. Jimbo Fisher said after the Tennessee win that Texas A&M can play with anyone in the nation and should be in the playoff. I agree with him.

Cincinnati would be an improvement over Ohio State, but that isn't happening. If Notre Dame keeps getting drubbed this bad, it'll be Texas A&M for sure even if the CFP committee brainfarts and lets Ohio State in.

I wouldn't speak too soon. Ohio State is behind Northwestern 10-6 going in to the 3rd quarter, and NW isn't looking too shabby.
The Wildcats certainly aren't intimidated. It took Ryan Day nearly three quarters to figure out that NW can't stop the run. Why he continued to call passing plays with two of his top WRs out is a mystery. Credit to NW for playing inspired but the Buckeyes have made it easy on them to this point. I didn't figure OSU was going to fold. That's why they play 4 quarters. Congrats on the win.
