Let's discuss this reasonably. If you will not get the vaccine, tell us why not and cite reasons. don't just say, "It's dangerous." without citing valid evidence it is dangerous. I'll start. I will get the vaccine as soon as it is available to my age/risk group. My reason is that I want to be able to get back to normal life as soon as possible and the faster the population gets vaccinated the sooner that will happen. I realize that some people may have adverse reactions to it, but that is true of all vaccines. I am willing to take that chance to get back to normal. Next!

I MAY get it after everyone else gets it first. Wait and see attitude. I never trusted Fauci and I don't trust big pharma in general, and how this was rushed into release.

The only reason I can see to hesitate getting vaxed is that the vaccine was developed with a process never tried before, the mRNA process. That lends a bit of pause to the idea of being first in line. However, we're something like 35 million doses into it worldwide with, AFAIK, just one related serious side effect case. So, it seems to me to have been proven "safe and effective", and with that I'm going to get it as soon as it's available here.

I've only read about two people in the United States that have had serious reactions to the vaccine. Both those had experienced reactions to prior vaccines so the administration site was prepared for it and they were monitored and were ok within a few hours. Sites here are requiring anyone being vaccinated to stay for 15 minutes as a precaution to adverse reactions.

I’m on the fence. Both the wife and my son are high risk with immunodeficiencies...so if it is safe, I probably will.
My son has a vaccination injury though, so I’m not particularly enthusiastic.

Until we get to 90% herd immunity, a combo of vax & natural antibodies we are stuck, as I understand it. Measles is worse but not nearly as deadly. Eventually we will get to today’s flu infection rate and mortality rate and call it a win.
I’ll do the vax. Unless new data is presented. We are probably 8-12 mo from normal. With Sig changes going forward.

The measles vacc has a long track record, no? Track record is the concern then? I was vaccinated for the measles and still caught all 3 types. When it becomes available I will probably get it. My wife is against it. So who knows.
