I need to hire an airplane and instructor, and go up for an hour or two. The last time I flew as PIC, or flew an airplane at all, was in 2004.

I lost my medical certificate, which makes me ineligible to fly a plane without a fully certified pilot in the other seat.

The Airman's Certificate is good forever unless the FAA revokes it for a violation.

Even if I were still legal, airplane rental prices have gone out of sight, too.

Maybe if I get another stimulus check, I'll use some of my own money returned to me by a grateful government to go commit aviation.
