I can get a gun (likely stolen) by simply walking 3 blocks down my street and making it known that I am in the market for one. OK, I can't, because everyone here knows I am a retired LEO, but my neighbors on either side (one black, one white) certainly can.
A felon can get a gun by ordering one (or several dozen) to be brought in across Bitem's wide open "Welcome to Free Shit" southern border. Once they are in Texas, Southern California, Arizona, or New Mexico. a currently licensed U.S. citizen can carefully drive the weapons in a currently legal vehicle all the way to Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, New York, or any other place he WANTS to go.
What part of ATTACKING LEGAL GUN OWNERS DOES NOT STOP CRIME are you failing to understand? What part of CRIMINALS LAUGH AT YOUR PUSSY LAWS are you failing to understand?
How are those GUN FREE zones working out?
The only laws that have any teeth where guns are concerned are MY law, that calls for severe penalties for misuse of guns.
NO LAW CAN STOP CRIME, but my law would make it very unappealing for those who are caught and convicted. And it would make it very unlikely that criminals would become repeat offenders.
