Two weeks ago I picked my last four tomatoes from the garden, but they were green. I put them on a windowsill where they get about 7 hours of sun daily and they finally ripened. I fried up some bacon that had been smoked with pecan wood and picked up some greenhouse lettuce from the Amish family down the road. Good eatin'.

Had a big, big bowl collection of green and tried a couple of different things. Last night did BLTs w green marinated in a home made marinade, then grilled. Love the tanginess of green tomatoes. Hot off the grill they are still firm. Indian style soup w coconut milk was also killer.

The tart green tomato is a natural partner to many other ingredients.
