I said I would never buy factory loaded handgun ammo again, but logic overruled me.
With more and more nutcases attacking people, and the chance of actually having to use my handgun rises, I decided I better tip the scales in my favor.
I went looking online and found a 50 round box of .45ACP 230 grain JHP ammo for the "low" price of only $36 a box. For factory HP ammo, that IS low.
Taxes and shipping jacked up the total to $55.00, but when you can't find stuff locally, you do what you gotta do.

Sellier & Bellot is good stuff, and it is factory rated at 890 FPS, which is hot for a .45. That is most likely from a 5" test barrel, so the actual velocity from my shorter barreled Glock will be less, but for practical purposes it won't make that much of a difference.
Unless I actually have to use it, those 50 rounds for carry purposes only will last me the rest of my life. I'll continue to use handloads for fun.
Yes, I am carrying JHP's already, but it's a mixed bag, so for convenience's sake, I decided to go with one brand for carry from now on.

Then again, the way Demonrats are protecting violent criminals and allowing them to run free, a little extra insurance never hurts.
