both sets of parents are triple vaxxxed (double dose with a booster) and of the 4 parents, none have tested positive yet.  with how easily this virus spreads, this is remarkable.  the vaccines/boosters work.

Measles, maybe THE most communicable virus known to man, can be passed by breathing the air in a room that someone infected has previously breathed, long after the infected has left the room, is considered to have reached herd immunity when 90% of the population is immune. It has an R0 of 20.

There is no way COVID, with an R0 of around 3, needs 90% of the population immune to get to herd immunity.

Now this Omicron variant has a higher R0, but it’s defining symptoms are a mild cough and being tired. That’s it. It looks like it finally evolved into a form that doesn’t kill the host, hopefully it will spread to the rest of the world and out compete the earlier forms.

Gov. Baker: QR code vaccine passport coming soon

Gov. Charlie Baker expects a state-sanctioned COVID-19 vaccination passport program to be implemented in Massachusetts and several other states soon.

During an appearance on GBH News' Boston Public Radio, Baker said a scannable quick response code, commonly known as a QR code, would show a person's vaccination status and be made available for others to scan and verify.

"It's a universal standard and we've been working with a bunch of other states, there's probably 15 or 20 of them, to try to create a single QR code that can be used for all sorts of things where people may choose to require a vaccine," Baker said of the passport program.

Baker showed hosts Margery Eagan and Jim Braude his code while in the GBH’s studios in Brighton.

"It's my proof that I've been vaccinated," he said.

Last week, new Boston Mayor Michelle Wu hinted that the city may implement a vaccine mandate for indoor recreation areas.

Baker defended the availability of COVID booster shots in the state, saying Massachusetts is providing around 55,000 total vaccination shots per day, including boosters, and has administered around 1 million booster shots. Baker compared that figure to the 80,000 doses the state was outputting last spring at the height of the vaccination push with the help of mass vaccination centers.

Baker said booster vaccines are available, but may not be in the most convenient locations for everyone.

"Now, they may not be in the place somebody wants to go to get one. And it may be a week or 10 days out or two weeks out before they can get one. But given the fact that we have far more demand now that we had a couple of weeks ago, we're going to see if we can increase our capacity to do more," Baker said.

When the conversation turned to politics, Baker once again told Braude that he's close to deciding whether to run for a third term, and that if he does, it will likely be as a Republican.

Braude told the governor that he assumes if Baker runs again, he "will run as a Republican or won't run at all."

"I think that's a reasonable assumption to make," Baker replied.

A Democrat-funded poll earlier this month found that Baker could face stiff competition in next year's Republican primary against the more conservative, Trump-aligned candidate former Whitman Rep. Geoff Diehl.

Baker said he doesn't sit around and think to himself about if he can win a race.

"To me, the question always comes back to what I said to you before, which is do I have the will, the desire and the agenda that I believe would be in the state's best interest, and the energy and the commitment to follow through and deliver on it," Baker said.

Asked about Maine's recent rejection of plan Baker favors to locate a power transmission line from Quebec to the United States to transmit hydroelectricity, the governor said he's having conversations with utilities and the province of Quebec over what to do to salvage the plan.

"We're still working on it with CMB, Central Maine Power and the folks in Quebec," Baker said.

Baker said the ballot question passed by Maine voters rejecting the transmission line through woodlands raises "an important legal question" about whether major projects, already approved by state governments, can be subject to changes made by voters.

The following statement was sent to me and other members of the medical staff at a local hospital in October 2021 by its Executive Committee after approval at a Medical Staff meeting:

“In early September, the Federation of State Medical Boards, as well as the American Board of Family Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine, and American Board of Pediatrics, issued a statement about vaccine misinformation. They stated that providing misinformation about the Covid-19 vaccine contradicts physicians’ ethical and professional responsibilities, and therefore may subject a physician to disciplinary action, including suspension or revocation of their medical license.

In support of this position, the Medical Staff voted to issue the following statement:

We believe that distribution of COVID-19 vaccine misinformation by a physician or advance practice provider via any means is contrary to the known science and the best interests of patients. Such conduct is also inconsistent with our standard and those practitioners may be subject to Medical Staff action….”

It is no small thing to imperil a physician’s livelihood, practice, medical license, and family over differences of opinion regarding optimal treatment for a particular condition. That, however, is precisely what this particular hospital has done. Specifically, they threatened physicians with “disciplinary action including suspension or revocation of their medical license” for the crime of “[distributing]… Covid-19 vaccine misinformation.”

There are intense debates surrounding the vaccine, its efficacy, how long the immunity lasts -- particularly as the virus evolves -- its experimental nature, its “Emergency Use Authorization,” and its serious side effects and adverse reactions, including death, that have been well documented. Many who have already been vaccinated still contract and spread the virus and fall ill from it. Tens of millions of Americans, previously infected, have “natural immunity,” which is far broader and more durable, and do not require the vaccine. The recovery rate for patients under seventy and in good health is 99.95%, better than the flu, and many choose not to get the vaccine for varying reasons, including risk-benefit analysis, concerns over potential complications, religious and medical objections, or personal choice. They then harness our own cellular machinery to produce the infamous “spike protein” to be distributed throughout the body eliciting the immune response, but sometimes with devastating consequences, as we have learned. A vaccine generally takes four-six years of development before being released. The COVID vaccine coming out in just a few months meant bypassing the usual safeguards that serve to protect the public before a new drug or vaccine is brought to market. Further, the principle of “bodily integrity” or “bodily autonomy,” or the right to do what we wish with our bodies (within reason), is settled law in this country based on a number of Supreme Court decisions, including Cruzan, Griswold, Casey, Loving, Roe, and others. Beyond that, the right to one’s own “personhood,” the right to the possession and control of one’s own body and person, free of restraint or interference, including the right to choose not to receive a medicine or vaccine, is as foundational as the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The right to self-govern and the freedom to choose is implied in our Constitution and, hence, a constitutional right. Beyond that, it is a God-given, natural right.

There is also much discussion about the optimal treatment for COVID, the use of therapeutics, and the questionable logic of mass vaccination, particularly, of a “leaky” vaccine, in the teeth of a pandemic. Such an approach may select out for a “super bug,” highly transmissible, that easily evades the uniform and less robust immunity derived from the COVID vaccine. Science evolves swiftly as new data and research arrive, even on a daily basis. What may be “science” or “truth” one day may be found incorrect and false the next. Further, the issue of COVID, lockdowns, school closures, masks, and the vaccine itself have become heavily politicized. “Science” has been harnessed in some quarters to pursue a particular political agenda; hence, it is not “science” so much as “political science.”

All of this raises the question: What, exactly, is “misinformation”? Who decides, and who is responsible for “distributing” it? We may, with time, be surprised at the answers to these questions. Perhaps, we will find that it is the large pharmaceutical companies and their allies in government, the media, and elsewhere? Is this essay “misinformation?” Will my privileges and license be revoked for writing it?

This “statement” threatens and intimidates those who may disagree with the received wisdom from the public health and medical establishment. It silences free and open debate regarding best practices for COVID, including the use of the vaccine, even when there is legitimate disagreement. It chills honest discussion and sincere, worthwhile professional exchange and differences of opinion. This “statement” suppresses healthy skepticism, discourages counterargument, and quashes dissent, critical in a free society and for the scientific enterprise. It leads to outright censorship and intimidation of authentic interlocutors who differ in their medical opinions. It represents, therefore, an attack on free speech and our First Amendment. It is an assault, as well, on reasonable scientific inquiry and examination. It is, in a word, tyranny.

Hence, it is unwise, unsound, and unscientific. It is also unconstitutional and un-American. It is unworthy of the medical profession, the scientific process, and this great nation. It should be repealed immediately.

I communicated in writing these identical sentiments with the president and other members of the medical staff, executive committee, executive team, and board of directors. There has been no response, nor did I expect one. They have already indicted themselves with their “statement.” They are complicit with evil and unlikely to alter their position.

The public health and medical establishment and their allies in government and the media have done horrendous harm to the nation with 19 months of “misinformation” and disastrous policies, including the lockdowns, school closures, quarantining, and mask and other mandates, none of which had any effect on the trajectory of the virus. Instead, they have inflicted enormous collateral damage on society far worse than the virus itself. The medical establishment has refused to recommend or offer early treatment and therapeutics, sacrificing tens of thousands of lives that could have been saved. Now, they push a very questionable and experimental “vaccine” upon the nation including children who have little risk from the virus. They have regrettably subsumed themselves to the interests of pharmaceutical companies and others.

History will judge this to be medicine’s darkest hour. It will rank among the worst of medical atrocities. What is telling and tragic is that the rot has spread not only to its medicine's commanding institutions, but to local hospitals and medical staffs. But a Medical Freedom movement that rejects such tyranny and actual “misinformation” is forming.

Specialized invisible dye, delivered along with a vaccine, could enable “on-patient” storage of vaccination history to save lives in regions where paper or digital records aren’t available.

Every year, a lack of vaccination leads to about 1.5 million preventable deaths, primarily in developing nations. One factor that makes vaccination campaigns in those nations more difficult is that there is little infrastructure for storing medical records, so there’s often no easy way to determine who needs a particular vaccine.

MIT researchers have now developed a novel way to record a patient’s vaccination history: storing the data in a pattern of dye, invisible to the naked eye, that is delivered under the skin at the same time as the vaccine.

“In areas where paper vaccination cards are often lost or do not exist at all, and electronic databases are unheard of, this technology could enable the rapid and anonymous detection of patient vaccination history to ensure that every child is vaccinated,” says Kevin McHugh, a former MIT postdoc who is now an assistant professor of bioengineering at Rice University.

The researchers showed that their new dye, which consists of nanocrystals called quantum dots, can remain for at least five years under the skin, where it emits near-infrared light that can be detected by a specially equipped smartphone.

McHugh and former visiting scientist Lihong Jing are the lead authors of the study, which appears today in Science Translational Medicine. Ana Jaklenec, a research scientist at MIT’s Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, and Robert Langer, the David H. Koch Institute Professor at MIT, are the senior authors of the paper.

An invisible record

Several years ago, the MIT team set out to devise a method for recording vaccination information in a way that doesn’t require a centralized database or other infrastructure. Many vaccines, such as the vaccine for measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR), require multiple doses spaced out at certain intervals; without accurate records, children may not receive all of the necessary doses.

“In order to be protected against most pathogens, one needs multiple vaccinations,” Jaklenec says. “In some areas in the developing world, it can be very challenging to do this, as there is a lack of data about who has been vaccinated and whether they need additional shots or not.”

To create an “on-patient,” decentralized medical record, the researchers developed a new type of copper-based quantum dots, which emit light in the near-infrared spectrum. The dots are only about 4 nanometers in diameter, but they are encapsulated in biocompatible microparticles that form spheres about 20 microns in diameter. This encapsulation allows the dye to remain in place, under the skin, after being injected.

The researchers designed their dye to be delivered by a microneedle patch rather than a traditional syringe and needle. Such patches are now being developed to deliver vaccines for measles, rubella, and other diseases, and the researchers showed that their dye could be easily incorporated into these patches.

The microneedles used in this study are made from a mixture of dissolvable sugar and a polymer called PVA, as well as the quantum-dot dye and the vaccine. When the patch is applied to the skin, the microneedles, which are 1.5 millimeters long, partially dissolve, releasing their payload within about two minutes.

By selectively loading microparticles into microneedles, the patches deliver a pattern in the skin that is invisible to the naked eye but can be scanned with a smartphone that has the infrared filter removed. The patch can be customized to imprint different patterns that correspond to the type of vaccine delivered.

“It’s possible someday that this ‘invisible’ approach could create new possibilities for data storage, biosensing, and vaccine applications that could improve how medical care is provided, particularly in the developing world,” Langer says.

Effective immunization

Tests using human cadaver skin showed that the quantum-dot patterns could be detected by smartphone cameras after up to five years of simulated sun exposure.

The researchers also tested this vaccination strategy in rats, using microneedle patches that delivered the quantum dots along with a polio vaccine. They found that those rats generated an immune response similar to the response of rats that received a traditional injected polio vaccine.

“This study confirmed that incorporating the vaccine with the dye in the microneedle patches did not affect the efficacy of the vaccine or our ability to detect the dye,” Jaklenec says.

The researchers now plan to survey health care workers in developing nations in Africa to get input on the best way to implement this type of vaccination record keeping. They are also working on expanding the amount of data that can be encoded in a single pattern, allowing them to include information such as the date of vaccine administration and the lot number of the vaccine batch.

The researchers believe the quantum dots are safe to use in this way because they are encapsulated in a biocompatible polymer, but they plan to do further safety studies before testing them in patients.

“Storage, access, and control of medical records is an important topic with many possible approaches,” says Mark Prausnitz, chair of chemical and biomolecular engineering at Georgia Tech, who was not involved in the research. “This study presents a novel approach where the medical record is stored and controlled by the patient within the patient’s skin in a minimally invasive and elegant way.”

The research was funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Koch Institute Support (core) Grant from the National Cancer Institute. The COVID Vaccine Failure

The CDC narrative on COVID is simply put: (1) the mask is your best defense, (2) COVID is a pandemic of the unvaccinated, and (3) vaccines are our only exit strategy. However, whenever their narrative falls apart, the emphasis shifts, cover-up lies become bolder, and dissenting science is censored.

According to CDC Director Rachel Walensky in a Twitter public service announcement, masks can help prevent the spread of COVID or flu or common cold by reducing your chance of infection by 80%. Yet eleven Randomized Controlled Trials (RCT), including a Danish RCT studying COVID, failed to show that masks prevent transmission of respiratory viruses. In two lawsuits the Ontario Nurses Association (ONA) won litigation against hospitals’ “vaccinate or mask” policy when RCT showed “scant evidence” that wearing masks reduced influenza transmission. Empirical evidence, including CDC’s own study, Oster's U.S. schools data, and comparing states with and without mask mandates failed to show a benefit to masking on COVID case rates. Though not reported in the media, the “mask is your best defense” isn’t settled science -- the WHO states that: “the use of masks by healthy people in the community setting is not yet supported by high quality scientific evidence.” Despite exclusive pro-mask news, parents are protesting against governors and school boards mandating masking K-12 students.

After vaccine uptake slowed, Walensky called COVID a “Pandemic of the Unvaccinated” to shame the unvaccinated into getting the vaccine. News reports touted divisive messaging of Biden-voting blue states as having higher vaccination rates and lower positivity rates than red states. However, her lies were contradicted when territories that were 80%+ vaccinated had the highest case rates -- Singapore with 85% vax rates, Iceland 92% vax rate, and Gibraltar with 100% vax rate saw peaking numbers. Compared to Florida case rates, California is 200% higher, NYC is 300% higher, the most vaxxed state Vermont is 700% higher. Of note: the most vaccine-hesitant were PhDs.

To explain the rising cases in highly vaccinated areas, Walensky reported that breakthrough infections were rare, representing < 1% of hospitalized infections, an assertion that contradicts CDC’s unpublished report showing 15% of May 2021 COVID cases were fully vaccinated, a 500% increase from April 2021, with decreased vaccine efficacy (VE) in nursing-home residents. Their <1% number was criticized for tallying all hospital cases from January to April 2021, well before most residents were vaccinated. Beginning May 1, CDC suppressed vaccinated positive case data -- they no longer published vaccine breakthrough cases, recommended against testing asymptomatic vaccinated individuals, and defined unvaccinated as someone within 14 days of receiving the COVID jab. The CDC’s definition of vaccine changed from “produce immunity” to “produce protection” against disease; their narrative became “vaccines can’t prevent transmission, but do prevent severe illness and death.”

When coercion and shaming didn’t increase vaccination rates, the Biden administration instituted a series of workplace vaccine mandates to compel COVID vaccines for employees in health care, government, and private corporations. The vaccine mandates contradict science by not accepting natural immunity (as EU does), by exempting politically connected groups (Congress and USPS), and administering a “leaky” vaccine. The mandated vaccine caused police and healthcare workers (HCW), many with natural immunity, to stand up for freedom and risk losing jobs. Their sacrifice was noticed when vaccine mandates caused hospital closures from nurses being fired and urban violence from firing policemen.

As COVID cases continued to rise, the CDC’s narrative shifted from vaccines being “safe and effective” to “get a booster shot for protection.” This follows Anthony Fauci announcing “waning of immunity not only against infection but against hospitalization and to some extent death, which is starting to now involve all age groups. It isn’t just the elderly.” An Israeli paper on booster shot protection shows that VE dropped to 71% in September and 60% in October. Two senior FDA vaccine officials resigned after Biden, FDA, and CDC heads announced a booster eligibility timeline prior to FDA approval. They explain their resignation in a Lancet paper -- existing data doesn’t warrant boosters, third dose decisions warrant more analysis of benefit-harm-population efficacy, and booster decisions “should be made by reliable science rather than by politics.” Like HCWs, police, and firefighters, they protested against having their dissenting views sidelined and censorship of physician scientists.

Since vaccines are the only exit strategy, news was suppressed on potential early treatment strategies, COVID’s low risk to children, alternate strategies to lockdowns, and vaccine side effects. The NIH could have led by initiating RCTs on early treatment regiments, face masks, natural immunity, and vaccine-induced myocarditis. Instead, physicians now lose their medical licenses for prescribing FDA approved drugs, like ivermectin, for off-label uses that 200+ members of Congress, Japan, and India used successfully.

Disregarding natural immunity was the most blatant, dangerous CDC lie, since many who refuse vaccination understand that prior infection is more protective. Furthermore, by not separating prior infected from the vaccinated and unvaccinated cohorts, the VE becomes meaningless. Only the most blind refuse to see that first responders, who put their lives on the line in the early pandemic to treat COVID patients and quell riots, are now sacrificing their livelihoods to refuse vaccines they don't want -- many were infected early while working tireless hours to protect Americans and now have lost jobs in the midst of hospital and police worker shortages.

As Americans, we can either be subject to medical political tyranny or stand for freedoms derived by our God-sanctioned morality. We need to decide whether to fight for our country founded as “a city on a hill” by the courageous who love freedom. Our alternative is a biosecurity state that promises us safety, tells only noble truths, and censors all dissenters. Now is the time to decide: a house divided cannot stand.

You can look at pro sports as if they are a control group. They are all fully vaccinated. Not just the players but coaches, trainers, equipment managers, any of the sports media people or anyone who they may come in contact with are all fully vaccinated.

Yet they are passing the Covid around like the mashed potato bowl at Thanksgiving dinner. The NHL has had to keep several teams from playing stretches of games until enough players would finally test negative. Rarely do they tell you if the players is exhibiting symptoms or not they are just listed as out on Covid protocol.

In Aaron Rogers case he is not vaccinated and tested positive. The only way he could have gotten it is from a vaccinated person. Much of this is due to inaccurate tests. Why would Lebron need to be tested three times in one day? Two are positive and one being negative. What does that prove?

Naturally. Just like one recent seasonal flu season they missed on the strain so the vaccine they developed turned out to be no more than 23% effective. Yet everybody was still supposed to go out and get jabbed because, if nothing else, it might help alleviate symptoms from an infection against which it was ineffective.

Naturally. Just like one recent seasonal flu season they missed on the strain so the vaccine they developed turned out to be no more than 23% effective. Yet everybody was still supposed to go out and get jabbed because, if nothing else, it might help alleviate symptoms from an infection against which it was ineffective.

News yesterday: 775,000 people dead from Covid. Some hospitals are already full of Covid patients.

Gee whiz... I guess that "vaccine" ain't all it's cut up to be... Imagine that!
Better load up on D3, C, curcumin, quercetin, NAC and and a little zinc like I do, there old fella. But mostly D3 if you want to live. Time to panic!
