Progressives warned conservatives that this might happen. It, like the Texas abortion law, is really bad lawmaking. And the conservatives in SCOTUS just got a lesson in the unintended consequences of their bad rulings. The Texas law should have been shot down on day one. |

This new California law finally authorizes measures to get nuts like Fred, who are menaces to society, off of our nation's streets... Now, now... Fred may be a gun nut, but he has demonstrated, at least talked the talk, of a very responsible gun owner. I have zero problem with him or his guns in that regard. Many years ago, there was a guy here who posted all kinds of crazy stuff, culminating in a pic of himself holding a gun and a half empty bottle of JD7. Can't recall his name. Other than that guy, I think all our members have demonstrated that they are very responsible gun owners. In fact, I've learned more about guns on this board than I ever wanted to know and it has helped me understand that a lot of anti-gun rhetoric is just BS hysteria. |

Yeah, we know... you want every gun registered, use taxed, insured, micro-stamped, trigger functions only by registered owner, locked up, hidden away and unusable in a crisis situation. It never ends with liberals. Pro-gun people cave on one thing and liberals want 10 more restrictions until legal guns are outlawed. It wouldn't even stop there. The most unhappy, unsatisfy-able neurotics around, with a compulsion to make everyone as miserable as they are. Every one of my guns is locked up except for the one I'm holstering. The only other gun that's actually loaded is locked up but close by and easily accessible to me or my wife. But nearly every gun that's locked in the big safe has plenty of loaded magazines or speed loaders at the ready, in the safe, just none in the actual gun. The tactical shotgun is high up in an action safe with buckshot shells at the ready. Additionally, all of my ammo is behind lock and key or in a safe. Only some buckshot is not locked up, but it's out of sight. Now, I'm sure that the several other responsible gun owners here that I'm aware of would be considered irresponsible and reckless because they may have either loaded or unloaded guns that are not locked up or being holstered at all times. Ask your irresponsible Denver twin where he keeps his Nazi daddy's guns and ammo since he started this bullshit thread... Of course, my particular firearms situation was all before everything was lost in the tragic boating accident of '06 when those topless college girls on that houseboat caused our fishing boat to capsize... |

If you are not trying to harm me or any other innocent person, you don't need to worry. I won't shoot you, hit you over the head with a Les Paul, OR try to chop you up with a propeller.
If you would do your research honestly, you will find that every, not most, responsible gun owner is just like me. We have no desire to go looking to harm another person.
