Dang, Gatr, that's an 8" long double patty there! I'm told that once gators are fed meat they digest it slowly and don't need to feed for a while...so you're good for a week or so now, right Bud?

Dang, Gatr, that's an 8" long double patty there! I'm told that once gators are fed meat they digest it slowly and don't need to feed for a while...so you're good for a week or so now, right Bud? Yep thats my beef intake for a couple weeks. Back to salads, chicken, and fish.

OHHHH !That looks Sooo Good!! But I think my scales are broke, the numbers are starting to have a winter effect and are going the wrong way. They're 3 lbs off. I'm stuck with salads for the next week myself. Need to buy new scales......Dammit!

I thought you were laying off the beef? We had smoked bone-in chacken thighs smothered in Old Bay for din-din. That burger looks mucho satisfying!

Don't waste your time with eating salads if you want to lose weight. Eat grilled fish or grilled boneless, skinless chicken breast sandwich on Pepperidge Farm Oatmeal bread. Or cut up the grilled chicken breast and top the salad. I use balsamic vinegar dressing and some Mrs. Dash Onion and Herb seasoning. The Mrs. Dash is totally calorie and fat free and gives the chicken or fish some zest. I eat a light breakfast of eggs and toast, then a fish or chicken sandwich about every 3 hours until dinner. Eat a normal dinner but reasonable portions. Use low sodium salt if you just have to have salt, but the Mrs. Dash is a great seasoning. I was putting on the pounds because of my malfunctioning thyroid, and now with it gone it's even more of a problem to control my weight. I also eat a lot of turkey or chicken soup, but I make my own. I make it wwith lots of chicken or turkey and plenty of broth, then freeze it in individual servings. When I thaw one out and put it on the stove I add a handful of elbow macaroni or ziti and let them soak up the broth. I can eat 2 hearty bowls of that at dinner and not need anything else. I've lost about 25 pounds since last October.

Thanks Cowboy. I do make it a habit to have a hot breakfast every day. I agree with your diet plan it does work. I call it changing my lifestyle. I opted for stuffed peppers the other night. I lost 30 lbs in this past year. I'm just adamant about keeping it off. Last week I had company and made a pork roast dinner with mashed potatoes. Toss in a flourless chocolate cake with almond flavored fresh whipped cream and I gain a couple of lbs. YIKES!! Back to boneless chicken breast and no carbs for a few days and I am sooo much better.
