NASCAR keeps trying new things to attract new viewers, and most attempts fail miserably. Running a NASCAR race on the road course at Daytona or Talladega is not what NASCAR fans want. They want SPEED!
So now NASCAR will run their Busch Clash exhibition race in Los Angeles, inside L. A. Memorial Coliseum. This will be a 1/4 mile track, but it will be narrower than a standard 1/4 mile track such as Bristol. It will be very difficult for cars to pass and will likely be a boring race, like a Sunday drive on a country road. Drivers will get frustrated and start to bump slower cars to knock them off the track. Tune in and take a nice nap.
